Questions
What is your hourly rate and do you accept insurance?
My hourly rate is $225. Accepted forms of payment include credit card, cash or check. No, I am not in network with any insurance providers. I do provide documentation required to submit claims for reimbursement for those who have a PPO policy with out-of-network mental health benfits. This information can be found on the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) section.
Do you offer in-person or telehealth services?
Both! I offer in-person appointments at my Palm Beach Gardens office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at the Boca Raton office on Wednesdays; however, appointment options on this day are limited due to demand. Telehealth appointments are available Monday-Thursdays.
What populations do you work with?
I work with adults only and those who are seeking treatment on a voluntary basis (no court-ordered treatment). I have extensive experience and training in working with several special populations, including partners of individuals with sex/love/porn addiction, those with loved ones with Borderline Personality Disorder, and Orthodox Jewish individuals.
I am new to therapy, what can I expect?
Starting a therapy journey can be quite intimidating so kudos to you for taking the first step. Generally, the first appointment we will discuss what brought you to therapy, your background and your goals. I will ask questions to get to know you better so that I can develop a thorough understanding of who you are as a person, what meaningful experiences/relationships have shaped you and how the problem has evolved over time. At the conclusion of this appointment, I will share my initial impressions and recommendations and we will discuss whether we think it's a good fit.
